What we collect on this site

When you join the early access list we store your email address, the status of residence you choose, and, if you give it, the month your residence card expires. We also record the language you used.

When you use the contact form we store your name, email address, your message, and, if you give it, your company name.

Why

Early access: to tell you once when Zairyu Self opens for your status, and to remind you before your expiry month if you gave it. We do not send newsletters or share your address with third parties.

Contact form: to reply to your question and, if needed, to follow up on it. We do not use contact details for marketing.

Where it is kept

Submissions are stored in a private Notion workspace operated by Guida LLC and delivered to our internal Google Chat. Both are access-controlled. Notion and Google may process this data on servers outside Japan, including the United States.

How long

Early access entries are kept until Zairyu Self has launched for your status and the notice has been sent, or for 12 months from registration, whichever is earlier. Entries are then deleted.

Contact form messages are kept for 12 months after our last reply, so we can refer back to them if you write again. They are then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your entry at any time by emailing info@guida.jp. We reply within 7 days.
